Children's TownChildren's Town in Zambia provide a home and an education for 60 former street children as well as education and life skill training to over 300 children from the surrounding community
Many orphans in Zambia's major towns end in the street because of abuse or poverty at home. The streets provide no love, no appreciation, no lifeskills. The law of the street is survival of the fittest. The children get into drug abuse, violence, creminality and prostitution. The government of Zambia is working hard on solving this problems and Children's Town is one of the homes helping children in need. Presently 60 former street children enjoy their stay in Children's Town. They get education and learn to understand, enjoy and respect human value and rules in life.
Children's Town also provide education and lifeskill training to over 300 vulnerable children from the neighbouring communities.
